We’ve devised an awards program based on participation at Flatland Multisport Series events and individual performance. Awards will be presented in November at an event to be announced.

Here’s How You Earn Flatland Multisport Series Points:
All Athletes: 25 points for competing in any Flatland Series event.

Age Group Winners: 100 points for First Place in Age Group; 75 points for Second Place in Age Group; 50 points for Third Place in Age Group; 25 points for Fourth Place in Age Group; 5 points for Fifth Place in Age Group

Overall Winners: 200 points for First Place Overall; 175 points for Second Place Overall; 150 points for Third Place Overall

Team Athletes: 8 points for competing in the event; 33 points for First Place in Team Division; 25 points for Second Place in Team Division; 16 points for Third Place in Team Division; 8 points for Fourth Place in Team Division; 1 point for Fifth Place in Team Division (Each team member receives 1/3 of the points an individual will/would receive)

Tie Breaker: Ties will be broken based on the T2 time at Big Creek Tri 28. If there is still a tie the winner of a donut eating contest will break the tie.

Athletes Scoring a Minimum of 75 Points: $5 off one Flatland Multisport Series race in 2009

1st Place Male:
One year of Race Entries (to any race, anywhere*) + Free entry to Flatland Series races + Flatland Series Champion Jersey + pair of Zoot Ultra triathlon shoes from Fitness Sports

1st Place Female: One year of Race Entries (to any race, anywhere*) + Free entry to Flatland Series races + Flatland Series Champion Jersey + pair of Zoot Ultra triathlon shoes from Fitness Sports

Wildcard Athlete:
A name from the 1200 athletes who participated in the Flatland Multisport Series will be chosen as the 2008 Wildcard Athlete – this athlete will receive - One year of Race Entries (to any race, anywhere*) + Free entry to Flatland Series races + Flatland Series Champion Jersey + pair of Zoot Ultra triathlon shoes from Fitness Sports

Giveaways:
Athletes scoring a minimum of 75 points will be eligible to win giveaway items from local businesses.

Awards winner will be presented in November of 2008 at a event to be announced.
